Role Description
This role provides financial, commercial, and strategic support to FNZ (SA) Ltd, with assistance to the FNZ Group as required. The opportunity is suited for an experienced and qualified Chartered Accountant who has worked within a complex and regulated growth environment. The successful individual will command respect and deliver faultless execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with the CEO, Group CFO, and the Board to develop a 3-5 year business plan focused on wealth creation for shareholders.
- Ensure compliance with local financial regulatory requirements and manage financial risks effectively.
- Implement and oversee processes and controls to execute business plans, including annual budgeting.
- Communicate finance strategy across the organization, liaising with auditors, bankers, and investors.
- Provide regular Board reports such as management accounts, customer profitability analysis, and cash flow forecasts.
- Manage regulatory capital resources, stress testing, and liquidity risk under BIPRU12.
- Maintain governance structures and ensure compliance with FCA’s Conduct Rules and other regulatory standards.
Qualifications
- Chartered Accountant qualification.
- Experience in a regulated, complex growth environment.
Additional Details
Senior Managers Regime compliance, FCA’s Conduct Rules adherence, and ongoing regulatory knowledge are required. The role involves sitting on regulated and non-regulated SA entity committees and overseeing the financial and regulatory health of FNZ (SA).
