Role Purpose
The purpose of the role is to provide the various leads within the Consumer Business Unit (CBU) Prepaid Commercial environment with financial and analytical support to ensure the achievement of key business objectives.
The Support
The Specialist: Finance Business Partner CBU provides support to ensure operational and tactical decision-making efficiency, underpinned by robust financial reviews using analytics, business and commercial intelligence, and financial modelling.
Main Focus
The role primarily supports CBU FBP internally, as well as Commercial, Pricing, and Fin Ops business functions.
Responsibilities

Support business decision analysis: Provide financial guidance and challenge for new product launches, pricing changes, or targeted campaigns.
Data manipulation and analysis: Build financial models, analyze customer trends/behaviour, and extract data using SQL, Qlik Sense, or similar tools to generate actionable insights.
Communication: Present high-quality written and oral insights for executive management, providing timely feedback to stakeholders.
Business case evaluation: Support decision-making through comprehensive financial evaluations of proposals.
Post-investment reviews: Conduct appraisals to measure performance against objectives and communicate lessons learned.
Product analytics: Support monthly KPI analysis by product categories and advise on campaigns to meet financial targets.
Channel and customer analytics: Provide financial performance reports and analysis to optimize A&R efficiency and intensity.

Ideal Candidate

3-year degree in Quants, Statistics, Actuarial Science, Business Science, Finance, or equivalent.
Advanced modelling skills in Excel.
Intermediate to advanced SQL skills.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Ability to assess risks and sensitivities.
Self-starter and action-oriented.
Understanding of the competitive environment and financial performance reporting.
