SUMMARY: Senior Conveyancing (Transfers) Secretary: Law Firm – Cape Town POSITION INFO: Employer Description A well-established and reputable law firm located in Cape Town CBD Job Description Our client is looking for a suitable Conveyancing Secretary who knows what they are doing in the transfer space and correspondent work, as well as other administrative support roles, as the branch office is still fairly new.
You will be responsible for: Handling all transfer matters, including but not limited to: Normal transfers Sectional title transfers Drafting transfer documents and VA’s Managing the full lifecycle of a file – from opening to finances and closure Liaising and building professional relationships with agents and clients Attending to general administrative duties Types of Transfers: Developments – TRANSFERS WILL BE ALL TYPES OF SELLERS And possibly Sub-divisions and consolidations Duties: Assisting Conveyancer with all aspects of conveyancing, particularly: Developments Opening of Sectional Title Schemes Qualifications Relevant Conveyancing qualifications will apply.
Skills The successful candidate will have: 5+ years of conveyancing experience Working knowledge of Lexis Nexis, E4, Storedoc, Web Convey, Excel and MS Word, SARS e Filing (Transfer Duty).
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage matters from start to finish.
