Position Reports to:    Area Head: Enterprise Service & Support Division: Design and Enabling Location: Head Office Pretoria Advert Closing Date:  08 February 2026 About the Position SARS is seeking an experienced and skilled technical resource to become a part of our dynamic team.
As a specialist, your main responsibility will be to act as the organisational point of reference for the end-to-end production support of the SAP Success Factors Recruiting and Learning modules.
As the support specialist you will manage incident resolution, complex troubleshooting and problem analysis, investigation of root causes and liaison with our external support partner.
The role requires an individual who is experienced in testing and implementing changes and updates to the Success Factors products.
In a dynamic and ever-changing environment this role requires an individual who is adept at designing solutions and optimising processes to enable smooth operations.
It incorporates the responsibility for identifying areas of improvement and suggesting solutions to improve efficiency and productivity.
The ideal candidate should possess a proven track record of achieving results, can work independently with sound judgment, and demonstrate strong business acumen.
Job Purpose To provide business systems expertise, advice and support to develop operational implementation plans and / or associated service delivery processes, in order to continuously enhance service delivery. This role is primarily focused on collaborating closely with business units to acquire a comprehensive understanding of their business strategy, processes, services, roadmap, and overall context of operations.
The key objective is to provide an end-to-end support function that ensures the smooth functioning of modules in the SAP Success Factors Talent suite while ensuring that the necessary interventions required to address business challenges are identified and addressed.
Education and Experience Minimum Qualification & Experience Required Relevant Bachelor's Degree / Advanced Diploma (NQF 7) in Information Technology/ Engineering / Finance and or BAdmin AND 5-7 years' experience in a SAP environment, of which 2-3 years at functional specialist level.
ALTERNATIVE#Senior Certificate (NQF 4) AND 10 years SAP experience of which 2-3 years at functional specialist level.
Job Outputs: Process Accumulate information to review work progress that provides input to reporting, decision making and the identification of improvement opportunities.
Apply practical and applied knowledge and act authoritatively on methods, systems and procedures to identify trends and potential risks.
Communication of situational interpretation and judgement of work outputs and queries in area of specialisation.
Correctly apply policies, practices, standards, procedures and legislation in the delivery of work outputs.
Draw on own knowledge and experience to diagnose symptoms, causes and possible effects in order to solve emerging problems.
Initiate process and procedural change, implement the change and provide guidelines and support related to new requirements as a result of the change.
Plan for value-added process improvements, initiatives and services to deliver on operational strategy and objectives.
Execute specialist input through investigation & opportunities within the product process including risk concern.
Provide specialist input through the investigation of opportunities for operational and process product and risk optimisation.
Develop and maintain productive working relationships with peers, SARS role players and third parties to achieve predefined objectives.
Governance Implement and provide input into the development of governance, compliance, integrity and ethics processes within area of specialisation.
Ensure that completed work adhere to relevant policies, procedures, governance and legislative requirements and report on deviations & discrepancies.
People Develop and maintain productive working relationships with peers and team members to achieve predefined objectives.
Search for, integrate and share new knowledge attained through formal and informal learning opportunities in the execution of your job.
