Job Purpose: To provide essential support in the management of radio traffic (advertisements and logs) while providing comprehensive administrative and operational assistance to the Sales Department and Sales Manager.
Key Responsibilities: Traffic Coordination: Book spots, shuffle logs, and load all audio into the broadcast system.
Provide back-up support to the Senior Traffic Controller for all on-air advertisement placements.
Report unplayed adverts on log reconciliation reports and handle post-campaign reporting.
Generate reconciliation and proof-of-broadcast reports for Account Executives' clients.
Sales Administrative Support: Ensure Sales Manager (SM) sales figures and daily reports (due by 5 PM) are accurate and up to date.
Prepare EXCO reports before deadlines, including national sales house and CPT office data.
Manage client databases, meeting agendas, and the distribution of minutes/documentation.
Coordinate resources (stationery, client gifts) and maintain an organized filing system.
Finance & Reporting: Provide month-end reports requested by finance (OC, Trade Exchange, Revenue per show, spots sold).
Stakeholder Relations & Events: Arrange client presentations and catering.
Collate guest lists for events and ensure ticket distribution.
Liaise with suppliers for marketing materials and assist with trade marketing.
Core Requirements: Education: Matric / Grade 12.
Experience: 3 years' experience in traffic control and general office administration.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Zetta, GSelector, TBS, RCS, and Airwaves.
Advanced MS Office skills (specifically Word and Excel).
