Job Summary

To provide managerial support in the development and implementation of business enablement planning, service delivery processes, methods and techniques, enabling the provision of well-researched information to inform organisational decision making. Additionally, assist the Business Unit Executive in meeting function-specific business responsibilities, which include Management Information System (MIS) reporting, business project implementation, strategy execution, regulatory lobbying, and addressing any other operational issues.

Job Description

  • Managing Others: Take responsibility for the effective management of others.
  • Business Management: To provide specialist advice and support in assisting to manage and deliver on business initiatives.
  • Ensure that timelines are met: Manage team & own deliverables in such a way that deadlines are met.
  • Dealing with Stakeholders: Taking responsibility for managing the expectations of stakeholders.
  • Attend forums, project, and management meetings to stay up to date with operational developments.
  • Provide guidance and input around operational issues and day to day operational management.
  • Act as an operational filter to the business executive.
  • Deliver functions monthly, ad hoc, and quarterly reports.
  • Spearhead initiatives that deliver on efficiencies and productivity for the function and wider business.
  • Manage the business exposure to regulatory and third-party risk.
  • Continuously monitor the potential impact of new tactical plans on the reputational risk of the business unit and the Bank and advise seniors in the business on appropriate action to take to minimise the risk.

Education

Bachelor`s Degrees and Advanced Diplomas: Business, Commerce and Management Studies (Required)
