We are seeking a Finance Associate to support our growing business. In this role, you will be responsible for handling various accounting and finance-related tasks, including sales tax filing, data entry, financial reporting, and analysis. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented, Excel-proficient individual who can work independently and follow standard operating procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring accuracy and timely processing
• Prepare and file sales tax returns for applicable jurisdictions, following established SOPs
• Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts, supporting month-end and year-end close processes
• Create, maintain, and improve SOPs for financial tasks and compliance
• Extract and analyze financial data using Excel tools such as pivot tables and VLOOKUPs to produce reports and insights
• Prepare and maintain financial reports; support budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling activities
• Collaborate with internal departments and support leadership with financial insights and recommendations
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations
• Assist with audits and perform other finance and accounting tasks as needed

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in finance or accounting
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and VLOOKUPs
• Understanding of financial processes, reporting, and sales tax compliance
• Strong English communication skills
• Attention to detail, organizational, and time management skills
• Analytical mindset with problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
