JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Manage the production facility.
2. Facilitate an environment where continued growth and improvement is motivated and supported.
3. Facilitate communication between the sales teams, contracts and engineering.
4. Ensure healthy communication with the procurement department for ordering of material, equipment and items required for manufacture.
5. Responsible for manufacturing quality product, at the right quality with minimal cost incurred.
6. Ensure production schedules are followed and prioritize any production schedules as the need arises.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

1. Matric certificate and Electrical qualifications in electrical wiring and testing.
2. Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing management, overseeing a team of at least 60 individuals.
3. Manufacturing experience of transformers up to at least 10 MVA 33 KV is essential.
4. Computer literacy and good general computer knowledge and experience in Microsoft office.
5. Must be able to read, write, speak and understand the English language.
6. Must be able to communicate clearly and concisely, orally and in writing including formal communications and making presentations.
7. Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
