My client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced
Executive Chef
to lead their culinary team. The ideal candidate will be a passionate and creative individual with a proven track record of success in high-volume, upscale dining establishments. My client has requested to find a suitable candidate that does not job hop and has staying power. You should ideally have 10+ years in the industry in a similar role at fine dining restaurants.
As the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the kitchen operations, including menu development, food production, staff management, and quality control. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring that my client's restaurant delivers exceptional dining experiences to guests.
Expert knowledge of the restaurant industry and trends
Advanced culinary skills including food preparation, flavour pairings and other cooking best practices
Ability to develop unique recipes
Current knowledge of trends in the restaurant industry
In-depth knowledge of health and safety, including HACCP
Comfortable training, directing and supervising kitchen staff
Exceptional leadership skills, including motivation and goal-setting
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Time management and organisational skills
Stable work career and good references
South African citizen
With fine dining restaurant experience.
To start asap.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: R65 000,00 - R80 000,00 per month
