Job Title: Executive Assistant to the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO)

Department : Marketing

Reports To : Chief Marketing Officer

Location : Remote | Full-time Position Summary

The Executive Assistant to the CMO provides high-level administrative and operational support to the Chief Marketing Officer, ensuring the efficient management of the Marketing leadership office. This role requires exceptional organizational skills, discretion, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will serve as a trusted partner to the CMO, facilitating strategic initiatives, managing communications, and coordinating key projects across the marketing function.
Key Responsibilities Executive Support Manage and maintain the CMO’s calendar, including scheduling meetings, events, and travel arrangements if required.
Prepare, review, and edit correspondence, presentations, and reports.
Screen and prioritize incoming communications (emails, calls, and requests).
Coordinate internal and external meetings, including logistics, agendas, materials, and follow-up actions.
Maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion when handling sensitive information. Marketing Operations Coordination Support cross-functional marketing initiatives, ensuring timely follow-up and delivery on key projects.
Track project deadlines, key deliverables
Liaise with internal departments (Sales, Product, Finance, HR, etc.) to ensure seamless collaboration.
Assist with budget tracking, purchase orders, and vendor management. Strategic and Administrative Support Support preparation of presentations for board meetings, conferences, and internal reviews.
Anticipate needs and proactively identify opportunities to optimize the CMO’s effectiveness.
Support employee engagement initiatives and marketing team communications. Travel & Event Management Coordinate complex domestic and international travel arrangements and itineraries.
Reconcile travel expenses and ensure timely submission of reports. Qualifications Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Communications, Marketing, or related field preferred.
Some experience supporting senior executives in a fast-paced corporate environment, ideally within Marketing, Sales, or a growth-focused organization.
Demonstrated exposure to marketing operations, project coordination, or cross-functional business support, with clear interest in building a long-term career in Marketing.
Previous exposure to marketing campaigns, digital marketing tools, or CRM systems.
Experience in supporting or coordinating marketing projects, events, or campaigns.
Familiarity with basic marketing metrics, reporting, or performance tracking. Skills & Competencies: Strong organizational and time management skills with ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to support marketing messaging, presentations, and internal communications.
Proficiency in Google Workspace and collaboration/project tools (e.g., Slack, Asana, Notion, Hub Spot) with willingness to deepen marketing systems expertise.
Strong attention to detail, professionalism, and discretion when handling sensitive information.
Proactive mindset with ability to anticipate needs and support execution of marketing initiatives.
Strong interest in learning marketing strategy, campaign execution, and operational workflows within a growing marketing function.
Comfort working across teams (Sales, Product, Finance, HR) and developing a broader understanding of how marketing drives business growth. Development & Growth Orientation: Interest in growing into a Marketing Operations, Marketing Coordinator, or broader Marketing leadership track over time.
Eagerness to take on increasing ownership of marketing processes, reporting, and project delivery under the guidance of the CMO and marketing leadership team.
Willingness to learn tools, systems, and processes that support scaling marketing execution and performance tracking. Key Attributes Highly proactive and resourceful.
