Responsibilities:
Generate mechanical 3 D and 2 D drawings using CAD software
Measure existing components and generate 3 D parts
Assembly and detailed 2 D
Revising and updating existing drawings to reflect design changes accurately
Update drawing filing (inc. scanning and filing of existing drawings)
Maintain organised records of drawings and documents
Assist with detailing designed parts
Requirements:
Grade 12 with math and physics
Relevant drawing certificate
A Mechanical National diploma (Advantageous)
Minimum 2 years of experience with 3 D systems (i.e., Solid Edge, Solid Works, or Auto CAD)
Excellent communication, verbal and written
2 years of experience in MS Office and Auto CAD
Understanding machinery manufacturing processes
Knowledge and understanding of structural engineering requirements
