Are you ready to join a team that dreams as big as you do?Thekey purposeof the role is to be responsible for developing, implementing and governing Draftline Africa's data and analytics strategy to drive business decisions and growth.
This person will oversee data governance procedures and work closely with various departments to collect, prepare, organise, protect and analyse data assets while ensuring that the company meets industry best practices.
Duties will include managing a data and analytics team, leading project teams, improving and streamlining data systems and driving innovation.
Key roles and responsibilities: Thorough understanding of the business and data strategy.
Designing and implementing data and analytics strategies and systems.
Ensure efficient, scalable, and secure data architectures and pipelines.
Overseeing the collection, storage, management, quality and protection of data.
Implementing data privacy policies and complying with data protection regulations.
With special focus on CDP (Customer Data Platform) governance.
Be instrumental in the development, prioritisation and execution of the data product backlog.
Making sure that value is obtained from all available data sources.
Driving use of data to assist decision making in achieving marketing and business objectives.
Lead, motivate, support and manage a team of analysts, fostering technical development.
Primary team contact with both Local and Global Mar Tech teams, status meetings (weekly/monthly) to track CDP solutions and highlight key priorities.
Effectively communicate the status, value, and importance of data and analytics endeavours to executive members and colleagues.
Knowledge of relevant applications, big data solutions, and tools Lead project teams, building data solutions, providing guidance and support to more junior resources.
Ensuring that work is of a high standard and meets project objectives.
Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's Degree or relevant tertiary qualifications / certifications in IT, Data Science/Engineering, Marketing, Statistics5+ years data management / data and analysis / consumer/customer data experience – key being the ability to clean, store, interpret and visualize data for storytelling5+ years client/management-facing reporting and presentation experience Strong quantitative and analysis skills Stakeholder management Advanced SQL programming skills Advanced MS Excel skills Customer Data Platform (CDP) experience Strong understanding of data architecture and experience developing solutions on cloud platforms Experience using Reporting Tools like Power BI / Datorama / Data Studio / Looker / Tableau / Emplifi Experience with CRM and consumer journey mapping advantageous Success in leading and developing technical resources Key Competencies: Critical thinker Attention to detail Methodical Self-motivated Good communicator Eager to learn Ability to upskill others Additional Information: Band: VISAB/AB In Bev is an equal opportunity employer, and all appointments will be made in line with SAB/AB In Bev employment equity plan and talent requirements.
