The Credit Analyst oversees our credit-granting process and requires a combination of analytical and numerical skills, as well as the ability to routinely communicate with and interact with clients.

Tasks Duties And Responsibilities – “Your Role” Validate client and supporting information by assessing the contents of the documents.

Analyse credit applications by assessing the serviceability of the funding applied for.

Build and maintain effective working relationships with customers and stakeholders.

Manage client expectations by operating within the specified parameters and Service Level Agreements (SLA).

Enhance processes, policies and procedures by recommending and making submissions to the relevant parties.

Support the achievement of the business strategy, objectives and values.

Conduct Credit Risk Assessment Analyse Financial Data Statutory, regulatory and legislative requirements.

Industry, credit assessment & market knowledge for SMMEs.

Analysing situations or data that requires an in-depth evaluation of multiple factors Interacting with various levels of management Requirements Job Requirements – “About You” Strong analytical skills and self-motivated driver of performance.

Good interpersonal communication (verbal & written) abilities.

A Commerce or Legal Degree is essential Must have worked in a credit department of a bank or financial services company assessing credit risk for at least 2 years Must be highly analytical and tech-savvy
