Our client, situated in Wellington, is a leading Consulting Engineering Company in the field of project management, fuel, fire, civil and structural engineering. The company is currently seeking the services of a versatile Civil and Structural Engineer.
The ideal candidate has experience in civil engineering design, structural analysis, and project management, preferably within a small professional team.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree, National Diploma or B Tech qualification in Civil Engineering
Minimum 5 years’ experience in civil as well as structural engineering
Civil Engineering design and Structural Analysis skills
Strong project management skills
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Experience in preparation of bill of quantities for tenders
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a small team
Strong attention to detail
All-rounder, team-player
Required software skills/proficiency:
Autodesk Revit 3 D modelling for structural and civil work
Auto CAD 2 D draughting & Civil 3 D for civil engineering works
Prokon Structural Analysis software suite for structural analysis and design
HEC – RAS Stormwater Analysis Software
Microsoft Office Package
