Commercial Fleet - Sales Manager
Purpose
The Commercial Fleet Manager is responsible for developing, managing and growing long‑term relationships with commercial fleet customers, including truck, bus, logistics, mining and public transport operators.
The role focuses on driving revenue, contract retention and operational excellence by delivering competitive tyre pricing, professional fitment services, nationwide wholesale supply and reduced vehicle downtime through efficient coordination with operations.
Key Responsibilities Identify, onboard and manage commercial fleet accounts across trucking, logistics, mining, municipal and public transport sectors
Build and sustain strong relationships with fleet owners, procurement managers, operations managers and technical decision‑makers
Negotiate fleet pricing structures, service level agreements (SLAs), contracts and rebate agreements aligned with margin and volume targets
Serve as the primary point of contact for fleet customers, ensuring seamless coordination between sales, fitment, logistics and operations teams
Coordinate tyre fitment services at the Pretoria undercover fitment centre or at client sites via mobile fitment solutions
Manage nationwide wholesale tyre supply to customer fleet branches, depots and satellite operations
Monitor fleet tyre performance, consumption and replacement cycles to proactively identify upsell and retention opportunities
