The Assistant Salon Manager plays a key supporting role in ensuring BOA Beauty Bar delivers a warm, professional, and luxurious salon experience. This role assists the Salon Manager in daily operations, supports the nail tech team, maintains high service standards, and elevates overall client satisfaction. The ideal candidate is elegant, friendly, organised, and confident working in a fast-paced beauty environment.
Key Responsibilities Client Service & Salon Experience Welcome clients warmly and uphold BOA’s exceptional service standards.
Assist clients with service selections and general enquiries.
Maintain a calm, elegant, and professional atmosphere on the salon floor.
Support with resolving minor client concerns and ensure a positive experience.
Assist in guiding and motivating a team of nail technicians.
Help create a supportive, respectful, and productive salon culture.
Step into leadership when the Salon Manager is off‑duty.
Support the onboarding of new team members.
Ensure the salon floor, waiting area, and bathrooms remain tidy and presentable.
Monitor hygiene and grooming standards across the team.
Assist with stock monitoring and maintaining salon organisation. Administrative & System Support Ensure accurate daily use of Fresha or other salon systems.
Support with basic cash‑up responsibilities when delegated.
Assist with attendance, appointment accuracy, and general administrative tasks. Requirements 1–2 years experience in a supervisory or team‑lead role , ideally in: Beauty industry
Retail
Hospitality
(Beauty industry experience strongly preferred.)
Experience managing or guiding a small to medium sized team . Strong people skills, communication, and customer‑service mindset.
Immaculate personal presentation aligned with the BOA brand.
Ability to stay calm, organised, and professional during busy periods.
High attention to detail, reliability, and a positive attitude.
Comfortable using digital booking or POS systems (Fresha experience is a plus).
