Our client in the property development industry is seeking an experienced Civil Site Supervisor.
Requirements:
Reside in the Nelson Mandela Metropolitan area
3-5 years civil experience
Valid driver’s license
Qualification in civil or related fields will be advantageous

Skills:
Able to perform under pressure.
Willing to learn
Strong leadership and management skills. Managing sub-contractors on various sites
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Attention to detail
Able to read plans, take measurements and levels.
Valid driver's license
Strong physical stamina
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
Ability to complete projects
Must be able to set out the levels of the road by using a dumpy level
Must be able to manage the labor in all aspects
Must be able to manage the labor and the machines to build the road with the different materials

The type of civil construction that needs to be done is in town house complexes with stormwater and preparation for roads that needs to done to prep for paving:
The setting out and building of the roads (compaction, bringing in gravel, ensuring levels are correct, ensuring roads are set out right, ensuring curbs are in the right places)
