Permanent - Business Development Manager - Ekurhuleni (East Rand) - South Africa
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic business development plans to drive revenue growth.
- Identify, evaluate, and secure new business opportunities within the electrical construction, EPC, and engineering sectors.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and key stakeholders.
- Conduct market research to stay ahead of industry trends and competitive landscape.
- Collaborate with internal teams to tailor solutions that meet client needs.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to achieve company objectives.
- Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure.
- Provide regular reports and insights on business development performance.
Minimum Requirements:
- Minimum 10 years of proven experience in business development, preferably within the electrical industry (Construction, EPC & Engineering).
- Strong industry network and ability to leverage connections for business growth.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and drive results.
- Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to identifying new opportunities.
- Willingness to travel nationally as required in the future.
