Job Description

Here is what you will do:

• Work on model build, modelling of Combine Sewer Overflows (CSOs), Pump stations, Treatment works and model calibration/verification, flood mitigation schemes, CSO spill reduction program etc. using Info Works ICM for wastewater modelling projects across UK & Ireland, US, Middle East, and ANZ regions.
• Provide technical mentorship to junior modellers, review their work, and deliver training sessions on modelling concepts.
• Capable for leading the project, coordinating with Lead Offices, effectively manage project resources, mentoring juniors and ensuring quality checks
• Complete design/hydraulic modelling activities as per specified standards for different regional projects.
• Assist in establishing processes for working with ANZ/US/UK&I/ME offices.
• Independently manage project tasks, ensuring on-time delivery while adhering to AECOM's quality standards.
• Conduct comprehensive QA/QC reviews on models to ensure compliance with client standards and industry best practices.
• Independently troubleshoot and enhance hydraulic models for improved accuracy and performance.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including engineers, GIS specialists, and project managers, to drive seamless project execution.
• Support bid preparation and program management, contributing to business growth and project acquisition.

Here’s what we’re looking for:

• +8 years of experience in water and wastewater related engineering.
• Having +4 years of working experience on projects from UK & Ireland, US, Middle East, and ANZ regions.
• Proficiency on hydraulic modelling & design of foul sewer, storm sewer, urban drainage networks using Infoworks ICM, Sewer GEMS, PCSWMM etc.
• Hands-on experience with Arc GIS/Arc GIS Pro and Map Info for spatial data analysis and model integration.
• Familiarity with RTC, Ruby, SQL, and other relevant tools for hydraulic model enhancements and automation.
• Proficiency in asset scoping, including manholes, flow monitors, depth monitors, and other key network components.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent education) in an appropriate engineering discipline from an accredited college or university.
• Master of Engineering degree is an added advantage.
• Registration as a Professional Engineer with ECSA, or Chartered Engineer (e.g., ICE or CIWEM) , or Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent in the relevant field from any global organisation (e.g., Institution of Civil Engineers, UK)
• Proficiency in 2 D and water quality modelling is an added advantage.
