The Chief Engineer will lead a team of engineers in ensuring the smooth operation of our workshop. Key responsibilities include managing skilled mechanics, overseeing equipment maintenance and repair, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Key Requirements

1. A red seal qualification in Diesel mechanics is mandatory.
2. At least 5 years of experience as a workshop manager are required.
3. Extensive knowledge of earthmoving equipment, including Bell equipment and Chinese brand equipment, is essential.
4. Hydraulic systems knowledge is necessary.
5. Brief knowledge of auto electrics is also required.
6. Familiarity with mine safety and equipment lockout procedures is crucial.
7. Purchasing knowledge of equipment parts is necessary.

Compensation Package

$80,000 per year, negotiable based on experience.
