Job Responsibilities
Assist in opening and closing the store.
Ensure merchandise is properly stocked and displayed.
Monitor inventory levels and support inventory control (stock counts, shrink prevention).
Help implement store policies and procedures.
Maintain store cleanliness and organization.
Supervise and support staff during shifts.
Help onboard, train, and mentor new employees.
Delegate tasks and ensure efficient team workflow.
Motivate staff to meet sales targets and deliver excellent customer service.
Resolve customer complaints and issues professionally.
Provide support during peak hours (returns, checkout, inquiries).
Ensure a positive shopping experience for every customer.
Lead by example in delivering top-notch service.
Assist with meeting and exceeding sales goals.
Track daily and weekly sales performance.
Report to the Store Manager on key metrics and store performance.
Help with promotions, upselling, and product launches.
Assist in cash register operations and daily cash reconciliation.
Monitor for theft or policy violations.
Ensure safety procedures are followed (e.g., alarm systems, emergency protocols).
Help create and manage staff schedules.
Cover shifts as needed.
Support administrative tasks like email correspondence and documentation.
