Job Description : The Investment Director is responsible for the media buying and trading strategies and policies as well as their optimization.
Mission & Responsibilities
- Be responsible for the quality of the team’s media expertise
- Be responsible for the delivery and quality of the media buying and trading strategies, from negotiation to implementation
- Embody the media purchasing policy for the agency at internal and external level
- Ensure the implementation and the respect of our agreements / commitments with our partners and clients
- Be accountable for the optimization of the agency revenue with appropriate and performant purchasing, negotiation and auditing strategies
- Be accountable for the optimization of the services’ efficiency and relevance
- Be responsible for the accuracy in reporting and oversee the traders in updating reporting
- Manage Expertise & Negotiation teams
Qualifications & Languages
- Master’s degree in Marketing or Advertising
- Languages: English (Fluent)
Previous experience & Industry background
- 15+ years’ experience in advertising
- Media agency, Ad network, Publisher, Tech or Data company
Soft skills & Competencies
- Champion in media buying
- 360° Media expertise: audio, video, publishing, programmatic, social, mobile, performance marketing, geolocal
- Strong negotiation skills
- Strong knowledge of the partners & suppliers (media owners/publishers, ad networks, data & tech providers…)
- Revenue optimization
- Team management
Technical skills
- Operational Performance Management softwares (ie. Pilot)
- Table (ex: Excel)
- Advertising technologies (ex: adservers, retargeting platforms)
