Admin / Data Capturing Clerk – Pallet Department
3-Month Fixed Term Contract
Reporting to: Pallet Controller
Are you accurate, detail-driven, and experienced in pallet administration? Our client is seeking an organised Admin/Data Capturing Clerk to join their Pallet department and support smooth operational flow across inbound and outbound pallet activities. This is a 3 month fixed term contract.
What You’ll Do
You will play a key role in:
Capturing pallet movements and transactions using the CHEP online system Ensuring physical pallet stock matches system records Managing pallet slips, PODs, reconciliations & audit documentation Generating and analysing reports timeously Coordinating pallet collections and returns with customers Supporting monthly pallet counts and recovering outstanding pallets
What We’re Looking For
Matric / Grade 12 with Mathematics (Essential)1–3 years’ admin or data capturing experience Experience working with CHEP pallets / pooling systems (Essential)Warehouse/logistics environment exposure (Advantageous)Strong Excel skills & accurate data processing ability Excellent communication, problem-solving & customer service ability Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines consistently
