DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES, NOT LIMITED TO:
Performing customer accounts on Xero
Preparation of monthly management accounts
Preparation of annual financial statements
Preparation of month-end and year-end reconciliations
Liaising with customers regarding their business and assisting them in making financial decisions
Management of annual audits (where applicable)
Payroll processing
Bi-annual employer reconciliations
Workman's compensation and RMA submissions
Calculations of provisional tax and income tax (companies and individuals)
Submissions of VAT201, EMP201, ITR14, ITR12, IRP6
Other administrative tasks Requirements
REQUIREMENTS:
Completed SAIPA/SAICA/CIMA articles.
Good understanding of financial accounting and taxation with practical experience with:
SARS systems and processes
EMP501 reconciliations
Provisional tax calculations
Drafting of AFS
Year-end processes, working papers, and journals.
Advanced knowledge of Excel and accounting software, Xero and Market Place.
Experience in managing a team of 1 – 2 team members/clerks.
Experience in reviewing management accounts, financial statements, and financial/SARS letters.
Experience in client communication; interfacing; and meetings.
Excellent written and spoken skills.
Not hesitant to give advice and trust own judgement.
Excellent planning and organizing skills.
Responsible and deadline-driven.
Time management abilities.

Afrikaans and English proficient.
